 I'm delighted to say that I've just launched a brand new website - this time for the well-known London fetish club, Club RUB!
As you may know, I've just created a set of 6 club fliers for Kim, the club owner. Kim also needed a new website, and having seen this site, she asked me if I would build one for her. You can see the result at www.club-RUB.com!
The wireframe and graphical design for this new site was created in collaboration with Kim and another friend of hers, Christina Kokott. The programming task fell entirely to me lol. It's something I knew little about before deciding I needed my own site for my photography, but I must say I enjoy the process of creating new websites very much. The only problem is finding time to do it along with photography and running a company!
I must also say a big thankyou to the whole team at Joomla, the excellent open source content management system that I've used as a basis for all my sites.

Ive just uploaded a new Panorama shot, taken on the greek island of Santorini. This time I've learned that mounting the camera in portait orientation gives you a much taller panorama! The night-time view also makes this one my favourite so far. You can see the completed panorama here!

I've just finished adding a great new feature to the site. You can now view all the galleries full-screen, in high resolution. Just click the button on the right hand of the thumbnail strip. I think it makes a huge difference - you actually get to see the full impact and sharpness of the photos. I'm excited and I'd love to hear what you think!
While you're in the Gallery Menu, don't forget to look at the 3D photo wall as a fun alternative. (You can view that full-screen too - just right click and select full screen from the dropdown menu). |

I've just added a new newsletter feature to the site, to help you stay in touch if you'd like to follow my photography. I'll be sending out one or two emails a month, updating you on the latest photographs and other content. You can subscribe to the newsletter on the home page, whether you have an account or not, and of course you can unsubscribe at any time. I hope you enjoy it and I look forward to staying in touch! |

I've just added the facility to show panoramic photos to the site! Here's one that I created in the Maldives - it shows you the view from the corner of the restaurant on our island. Now you just have to imagine the warmth!
There is a new section called "Panoramas" under the "Gallery" menu, where I'll add the panoramas as they are created. And keep an eye out because there are some creative new ideas waiting to be shown in this part of the site!

I'm excited to have been asked by Kim from Club Rub (a well-known monthly London fetish and dance club) to create a series of 6 club fliers for the period from July to December 2009. Emma Alexa will appear in two of them and is also collaborating on the creative side. Each flier image will fit the theme of the event (which we've now finalised), and will be usable as postcards... or even framed!
I'll publish more details as the project progresses - watch this space! (And I'll be looking for models so please drop me a note if you might be interested). |
